Studies have shown that you can lose weight better if you have a "good night's sleep".

What is @Sleep Apnea?  A condition that can develop due to #overweight and other problems is called "Sleep Apnea".  With #Sleep Apnea your #windpipe narrows and stops your breathing; thus waking you up and disturbing your sleep!!!

What can you do about "Sleep Apnea?"

Use a "continuous positive airway pressure device" #CPAP mask.  This mask is a plastic device that covers your nose and mouth while you #sleep.  Studies have now concluded that using this CPAP mask will reduce being sleepy in the daytime.

What is against using tis @CPAP mask?  The CPAP mask is uncomfortable!!!!

What can you use for #Sleep #Apnea instead of the CPAP mask?
"Stick-on Nose Strips" are becoming popular.  There are 2 disposable bandage-like #stickers that you place over your nostrils at bedtime.   These attach to a tiny valve that is placed in the nostrils.  When you exhale the pressure keeps your airway open.

Sleek Technology has a device that is about the size of an electric pencil sharpener.  This uses a #mouthpiece that will draw the soft palate forward. 

If you do have #Sleep #Apnea, check with your doctor before using these devices.

Here are some more tips on "getting a good nights #Sleep".

Don't take a daytime nap
Don't drink or eat 3 hours before bedtime
Do Take care of your allergies by washing your nostrils out with warm saline water and use a #HEPA #via filter if need during sleep
Do Keep your room dark no light of any kind electronic or etc---
Don't watch tv before going to sleep
Do Read a good book before going to sleep
Do Listen to soft music with your lights dimmed before going to sleep
Don't do strenuous exercise before bedtime
Don't take vitamins at night
Do Try to take your meds 3 hours before sleep
Do Exercise earlier in the day but make sure to exercise as exercise promotes a good nights sleep
Do Try to go to bed and wake up the same time each day
Do Turn your lights on the minute you get out of bed
Do Keep you room cool and your covers light
Do Eat your main meal for lunch if possible and eat light in the evening
Do Have an evening ritual right before sleep; via brush teeth, brush hair, massage your feet and body gently with a soft scented cream of your choice
Do Keep stress out of the bedroom as much as possible; if you need to argue do it before you get to your bedroom
Do Have family meetings in the kitchen or living room, never in the bedroom
Do Meditate before going to sleep
